How do I submit an event to the THI Events Calendar?
How to Create and Manage Your Event on the THI Website
The THI Events Calendar serves as an invitation for people around the world to take the next step on their journey. As a THI Facilitator, you are able to post your events on the THI site! THI encourages all facilitators to do this so 1) THI is aware of upcoming activities and can refer people to them and 2) gives you an opportunity to invite people from all over the world to join your upcoming event. One of the newest features available on the THI Website is that you are also able to manage, edit, and change the details of your event at any time.
Please note, the ability to post events to the THI Events Calendar is only available for those who are certified in any of THI’s Small Group Programs and has a certification of at least Apprentice Facilitator.
To add an event to the THI Events Calendar:
- Log into the THI Website using your primary email address and secure password. If you need to reset your password, you will be able to do so. THI is unable to reset your password for you.
- Under “Dashboard”, first click “My Events” and then click “ Add Event+”.

- On the next page, add all of the details about your upcoming event. The fields that are required for you to submit to the THI Events Calendar, are noted with a red asterisk (*). Please read the following tips below to help you post your event correctly:
- If you choose to make your event “public”, that means anyone who visits the THI Events Calendar will be able to see it.
- If you choose to make your event “private”, it will not appear on the THI Events Calendar. It will still show up in your “My Events” Dashboard so you can manage the event and personally invite people to it.
- To add a main and/or assistant facilitator to the event, please search by first name or last name. It will take a few seconds for the search results to populate, so please be patient!
- If you do not see a facilitator’s name as a result of your search it could mean 1) they do not have an account in the THI Database OR 2) their record is confidential and/or protected by GDPR. Records that are protected will never appear in search bars.
- Do you want to add a registration link to a platform like Eventbrite to collect payment? Go right ahead! The THI Website is only going to collect the names and emails from people who register via the THI Website. If you want to collect more information from them or collect a payment, you can encourage them to navigate to the registration link you added.
- To add a location, you can either add an address OR you can add the name of an organization/building/location.
- After you’ve added all your event information, press “Create Event” on the bottom right corner of the screen.
- You will then be directed to your event posting!
- On this page, you can edit details of your event by clicking “Edit”.
- If you want to create a personalized registration link to send out to specific people, click “Registration link”. When someone clicks on your personalized registration link, they will be taken directly to your event listing.
- If you want to delete this event at any time prior to its start date, press “Delete”.
- THI highly recommends adding participants directly to your event listings, no matter the type of event you are hosting. There are a number of benefits to it:
- Any participants directly added to the event listing will have this event show up in their THI Database record. This is helpful to track who has completed a healing group, equipping session, convening session, or COP session.
- For equipping sessions specifically, it is going to make reporting a lot easier for you! When it’s time to report, their names/emails will automatically show up on the report form. That means you won’t have to add them!
- To add participants directly to your event listing click “Add” in the Participants section.

- On the next screen, you will be able to add participants to the event listing by submitting their email addresses. At this time, you are only able to add participants by adding their email address. If someone does not have an email address, they cannot be added to the event listing.
- You can add them one after the other separated by a comma or semicolon. You can also add them by pressing “Enter” or “Return” on your keyboard after typing each email address.
- NOTE: Adding someone to the event listing, does not make their information public. Only you will be able to see who’s been added to the event.
- After you have inputted all the email addresses, press “Add”.
- At any point before, during or after the event, you are able to add or delete participants to the event.
- FOR EQUIPPING SESSIONS ONLY:
- After you press “Add”, the THI Database is automatically scanning to see if it recognizes the email address. There are a few messages that can appear:
- #1: “These participants are eligible for the session”
- This message tells us a couple things. The first being that the database recognizes the email address! This means that this participant has already created an account on the THI Website with this email address. It also tells us that they have no history of attending an Initial Equipping and are eligible to attend this one.
- #1: “These participants are eligible for the session”
- After you press “Add”, the THI Database is automatically scanning to see if it recognizes the email address. There are a few messages that can appear:

- #2: “This participant is overqualified for this session. They will not be attached to the sessions”.
- This message tells us that someone is trying to register for your equipping session but is already certified in this program modality. It’s recommended to follow up with them and inquire why they may be signing up.

- #3: “These participants are eligible for this session and are new to the THI Database. They will receive invitations to THI website to this email.”
- This message tells us that this person does not have an account in the THI Database. By adding their email address to this event, their email has been added to the database. They are receiving an email from THI encouraging them to log into the THI Website and finish their profile setup.

- FOR ADVANCED EQUIPPING SESSIONS ONLY: #4: “These participants do not have enough sessions to attend this session. They will not be attached.”
- This message tells us that according to their record in the THI Databse, they do not have at least 2 healing groups reported. These would be the two required healing groups that Apprentice Facilitators must complete prior to attending an Advanced Equipping. It is recommended that you reach out to this individual and inquire about the lack of reporting.

- If you set your event to “public”, you can check the THI Events Calendar by clicking “Events” on the left side of your screen. If you submitted it properly, you will see your event listing there!

- When it comes time to submit your report for this particular event to the THI Database, it will appear in the “My Reporting” section of your dashboard under “Unreported Events”.
